Day 1: Hanoi - Thung Nham Valley - Tam Coc - Rural Villages - Thai Vi Temple
7:00 to 7:30 AM: The tour guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi and transfer you to Ninh Binh in a luxury limousine van with a small group, maximum 7 to 8 people.
8:40 AM: Take a short break at a stop-over in Dong Van, Ha Nam province, where you can relax, use the restroom, or enjoy coffee.
9:35 AM: Arrive at Tam Coc in Ninh Hai Village at our branch office. Begin your visit with a cycling tour through Ninh Hai Village, experiencing the traditional houses and rural daily life. Cycle through the vast valley with spectacular landscapes, limestone karsts, and green rice paddies. Learn about rice cultivation and traditional culture from your guide. After an hour of cycling, visit a local family for a break and enjoy fresh tropical fruit.
After the break, continue cycling through the Tam Coc valley, resembling Ha Long Bay, and visit the historical Thai Vi Temple. After the temple visit, the tour guide will lead you to a local restaurant for an authentic Vietnamese lunch.
After lunch, the limousine van will take you to Tam Coc Harbor for a bamboo boat trip to explore Tam Coc River and caves, witnessing breathtaking limestone formations. The boat trip lasts approximately 2.5 to 2 hours. Afterward, you'll be taken to your homestay, villa, or bungalow for check-in. Enjoy free time to explore the village. In the evening, participate in a cooking class before having dinner served by Vietnamese hosts.
Day 2: Mua Cave & Peak - Bai Dinh Pagoda - Hoa Lu – Hanoi
7:30 to 8:00 AM: Breakfast at the homestay.
You have the option to visit Mua Cave, either by bicycle or car. Mua Cave is a highlight where you can hike up to the peak of Ngoa Long Mountain, climbing 500 steps for a panoramic view of Ninh Binh's spectacular limestone karst mountains.
10:00 AM: Continue to Bai Dinh Pagoda, the largest pagoda in Vietnam and Southeast Asia. Explore the pagoda with over 1000 steps, marvel at 5000 La Han Buddha statues, and witness a bronze and gold Buddha. Learn about the pagoda's history from your guide. After the visit, enjoy lunch with Vietnamese cuisine and free time to relax.
Visit Hoa Lu, the ancient capital of Vietnam in the 10th century. Explore the temple of King Dinh with insights from the local guide into Vietnamese history.
Leave Ninh Binh and drive back to Hanoi. Upon arrival in Hanoi, the driver will drop you off at your hotel or private address in Hanoi Old Quarter, concluding the trip.
